What's New for 2014
The 2014 Kia Cadenza is an all-new model.
Introduction
It's been a while since Kia has offered a large sedan. You'd have to go back to 2009, which was the last year for the largely forgettable Amanti. But the 2014 Kia Cadenza should step in to fill that hole in Kia's lineup quite nicely.

Based on the Korean-market K7, the front-wheel-drive Cadenza will be longer and wider than the Optima. It will likely come with a 3.5-liter direct-injected V6 making close to 280 horsepower, and a six-speed automatic. The Cadenza should ride on both 17- and 18-inch wheels and offer a generous array of standard and optional features including leather upholstery, heated and ventilated power front seats, a heated steering wheel and a panoramic sunroof.
Considering how well Kia has improved the desirability of its vehicles in recent years, we expect the Cadenza will be a prime competitor against models such as the Buick LaCrosse, Chrysler 300, Ford Taurus and Toyota Avalon.
